Feature-Price Effectiveness

AlphaOne offers very little space as compared to the rest of the hosting providers in Mambo Hosting Directory. Its prices start at $6.95 for 750 MB space. There is no free domain registration. To compensate that, the company offers unlimited traffic and free Mambo installation.

Support Quality

AlphaOne offers technical support via the ticketing system only. Although some clients see this as a deficiency and require phone support, we think the ticketing system has lots of advantages and have not taken many points from AlphaOne for that. The company gains advantage for offering pre-installed Mambo application with every hosting package.

Customer opinion

Our research show that AlphaOne's customer base is still small. By now, however, their clients are happy with the speed of support and reliability of the servers.

Our Evaluation

AOT wins points for offering pre-installed Mambo CMS, which is a nice convenience when you want to start a new Mambo website. AOT feature/price ratio is much lower than the industry standard, however. If AOT increases its features, and decides to add professional Mambo services, it may become an excellent hosting choice for Mambo users.
